Join to apply for the Project Control Coordinator role at UGL This project control coordinator position plays a critical role in providing financial insight, strategic support, project engineering and cost control expertise across multiple construction contracts. The coordinator will act as a key link between the IT, finance team and operational project managers to ensure financial rigor, budgetary discipline, and optimal project outcomes. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain detailed project schedules and ensure alignment with project scope and milestones. Implement EVM techniques to track project performance and provide regular updates on progress and performance metrics. Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies, and manage changes in scope, budget and schedule with proper approvals. Prepare and deliver accurate and timely project reports, including progress, risks and financials. Prepare and monitor project budgets, forecasts and financial plans in collaboration with project teams. Conduct variance analysis and investigate financial discrepancies. Support preparation of financial reports, monthly project reviews and audits. Drive financial accountability and performance throughout the VIC O&M business. Attend project meetings to support financial planning, reporting and risk management. Analyze costs, pricing, variable contributions, margin results and compare actual performance to budget/forecast plans. Monitor project expenditures and ensure alignment with approved budgets. Provide insightful commentary and recommendations for financial and operational improvements. Support internal and external audits as required. Assist with FSM implementation and champion future development opportunities. Project control experience in large industrial construction or maintenance organisations.
