Job Description Life in the fast lane As our Communications Specialist – Broadcast & Talent , you will be joining the Corporate Affairs & Communications team to support the delivery and execution of the Formula 1® Australian Grand Prix event. This is a fixed term position until 15 March 2026 , based at our Head Office in St Kilda and the Albert Park Circuit. Reporting to the Senior Manager – Corporate Affairs and Communications, you will be responsible for publicity events and broadcast relations in the lead up to and during the Formula 1® Australian Grand Prix 2026. This role will also help to develop and support the ongoing communications strategy for the team. Additionally, you will: Work closely with AGPC’s broadcast partner to deliver compelling content and maximise publicity opportunities. Develop communication materials for event launches, photo opportunities and media announcements, including press releases, speaking notes and run sheets. Coordinate the 2026 talent program end-to-end, from ideation and contract negotiation through to tailored experiences and VIP ticketing. Play a key role in Glamour on the Grid, curating guest lists and communications in partnership with AGPC’s PR agency. Champion positive stories and messaging to strengthen AGPC’s reputation and showcase the Formula 1® Australian Grand Prix 2026. What you’ll bring to the role: Tertiary qualification in communications, journalism or public relations, or equivalent experience. Excellent written and verbal communications skills, including feature writing, proof reading and the development of tailored content. Excellent project management skills, including the ability to engage with multiple internal and external stakeholders.
