As a Lead Engineer – Salesforce, you will play a pivotal role in our ongoing technology transformation. You are an accomplished Lead Engineer with deep, hands‑on Salesforce expertise. You thrive in a fast‑paced, transformation‑focused environment and are passionate about leading teams to deliver high‑impact digital solutions. Responsibilities Lead the design, development, and implementation of scalable Salesforce solutions aligned to Zurich’s digital strategy. Translate complex business requirements into robust technical specifications and solutions. Pilot and evaluate new Salesforce features to assess their impact and value. Provide hands‑on technical leadership, including coding, configuration, and integrations (approx. 30% hands‑on). Mentor and guide team members in Salesforce best practices and technical excellence. Conduct code reviews and ensure compliance with quality standards. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, driving continuous improvement. Qualifications Proven experience as a Lead Engineer, with a track record of leading Salesforce solution delivery in complex environments. Expert‑level proficiency in Salesforce development (Apex, Aura, Lightning Web Components, Visualforce, HTML, CSS, JavaScript). Strong understanding of APIs, integration patterns, and CI/CD concepts and tooling. Experience with Salesforce Data Cloud, Agentforce, and Experience Cloud. Salesforce Developer certifications. Demonstrated ability to mentor and lead technical teams. Experience in financial services or insurance is highly regarded.
