The Opportunity It doesn't happen often that we have the opportunity of offering an experienced Merchandise / Category Manager to join our team. We are seeking a talented, dynamic, and commercially savvy individual with demonstrable experience of retail category management, driving innovation and leading a capable team. You will have overall responsibility for the growth and profitability of the category. Duties And Responsibilities Include Optimise sales and profit, managing inventory to annual budget targets Lead the category team Develop and execute a customer-focused category strategy in a Trans-Tasman omni-channel retail business Identify market / product opportunities Develop product ranges and competitive promotional calendar Conduct range reviews Build strong internal and external relationships Maintain effective relationships with domestic and overseas suppliers About You An experienced Category / Product Manager, Buyer or Account Manager who is results-focused, dynamic, go-getter, ensuring your category always exceeds customer expectations and delivers strong commercial outcomes.
