Your Role: Create An Impactful Change Dental Assistant Floor Coordinator Join Our Warm & Welcoming Team We’re looking for a Dental Assistant Floor Coordinator to oversee operations across our Primary Care Dental Chairs. In this role, you’ll coordinate patient flow, manage resources, and ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality care. You’ll be the go‑to person for daily chair management, staffing allocations, and real‑time problem‑solving. Working closely with the Primary Care leadership team, you’ll help optimise throughput, patient safety, and team performance. Most importantly, you’ll be part of a supportive, friendly, and welcoming team that values collaboration, respect, and shared success. Key Responsibilities Coordinate dental lists and chair management to align with clinical priorities. Lead and support dental teams daily , modelling a calm, solutions‑focused, can‑do approach. Manage staffing allocations and skill mix , escalating and problem‑solving in real time. Partner with leadership (Team Leader Primary Care and Head of Unit Primary Care) to optimise throughput and patient safety. Monitor clinical standards, patient flow, and documentation , ensuring timely and accurate handovers. Liaise with other services to maintain continuity of care. Contribute to quality, safety, and continuous improvement initiatives across the unit. Together, we celebrate success, learn from challenges, and grow with purpose. Certificate III in Dental Assisting. Cert IV in Dental Assisting (desirable). Whilst experience in coaching and team management is an advantage, we also welcome applications from talented Dental Assistants who may have less experience but are motivated to learn, grow, and develop their skills within a supportive and collaborative team environment. Knowledge in rostering and resource management. Knowledge of patient care processes, techniques, and terminology within an oral health environment. Why work for OHV?
