An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated individual looking for a rewarding career opportunity as a Graphic Designer. Feelgood Australia is an established company, we specialise in Australian wheat filled heat packs -manufacturing and distributing to many of the major retail stores in Australia. We are currently seeking an switched on, motivated, quick learning and experienced Graphic Designer / Product Developer to join our in-house design team and work in a small, friendly, fast paced "can-do" team environment based in Laverton North, Melbourne. The working hours can be flexible. Responsibilities Research and develop new concepts Designing of concept art and producing finished art Branding / Style Guide usage Liaising with overseas suppliers through development process Administration updating of progress through design timeline documents and running lists Organising sample requests Product photography and editing Responsible for Quality Control of design and artwork through concept, preproduction and production Assist production quality check, measurement and colour matching Website upkeep Skills required Tertiary qualified in Graphic Design, Multimedia or equivalent MAC Platform Experience - Adobe Creative Cloud especially Illustrator and Photoshop, Microsoft Excel and Word, SharePoint File Management Knowledge in Colour matching, pre-press, and Pantone & CMYK printing A strong eye and attention to detail is a must Excellent communication and time management skills Excellent eye for colours, typography, patterns and layouts Ability to work efficiently under pressure with tight deadlines Experience with product and packaging will be advantageous Website and content management knowledge Demonstrate initiative, enthusiasm, professionalism and pride in your work Independent thinker If you tick all the above boxes, are a creative and an efficient individual who is passionate about design and get excited about seeing your designs out in retail, send through your CV, sample portfolio (no larger than 4MB) and cover letter showing us why you are the ideal candidate for this position.
