Your Role & Team The Analytics Team partners with the business to deliver analytics assets that elevate data driven decision-making capabilities across CreditorWatch. The Analytics Engineering Manager will manage two teams: Analytics Engineering - Building internal data assets and metrics to work towards a single source of truth for our product, customer, and financial information. Insight & Analytics - Supports our growth and revenue targets through pricing analytics, sales insight tools and customer analytics. This is a people leadership role managing a small team of Analytics Engineers and Analysts to lead the way for identifying critical business direction, informing strategic decision-making processes and developing actionable recommendations for the business. On top of leading the team there will be some hands-on Analytics Engineering required to ensure we have highest quality data artefacts covering product, customer, and financial information. This role reports directly to the Head of Data and is a full-time opportunity offering hybrid working conditions out of our Sydney CBD Office. Some of your responsibilities include and are not limited to: Uncover actionable insights to optimise revenue growth by analysing marketing performance metrics, product utilisation data, customer behaviour, and other available data factors. Own and run regular sprint planning and team meetings. Oversee technical execution to ensure high-quality standards and impactful outcomes. Establish and promote best practices to enhance the team's work quality. Procure, own, and monitor data technology and related costs. Foster the development of team members' technical skills, autonomy, and leadership qualities. Ensure a supportive environment that promotes work-life balance. Develop a positive team culture that fosters healthy debate, collaboration, knowledge sharing and continuous improvement, aiming for exceptional delivery of outcomes. Collaborate with stakeholders across the organisation to implement change initiatives that enhance the quality of data and the effectiveness of analytics assets. Technical: Deep understanding of analytics lifecycle from stakeholder engagement and requirements gathering through to deployment and maintenance Strong SQL and data warehousing fundamentals incl. Kimball modelling Strong data engineering pipeline design and architecture Familiarity with software engineering best practices incl. testing, CI, and CD Familiarity with analytic technology stack covering BI, ELT, DB, user behaviour analytics, experimentation Data sense making process Data visualisation fundamentals and theory People & Team: Team workflows and rituals Feedback practices and strategies Skills Stakeholder and cross organisational collaboration Roadmap development and project management Data analysis and sense making Data and analytics engineering More than just work ️ Daily Fuel - Barista-made coffee, breakfast, snacks, lunches and drinks on us - we got you Phone Credits - We pay you $50 per month to put towards your plans - how good. ️ ????
