Multicultural Mental Health Prevention Coordinator, Queensland Health Make a Difference in Multicultural Mental Health Drive prevention, resilience, and early intervention for mental health support initiatives at a state-wide level. Your new role This is a unique opportunity to make a real impact on the mental health and wellbeing of Queensland's culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) communities. In this role, you will: Develop, coordinate and evaluate prevention programs and projects that promote wellbeing and reduce stigma in CALD communities. Partner with community groups and service providers to build mental health literacy and resilience across Queensland. Deliver presentations and training to enhance the cultural capability of service providers and strengthen early intervention. Apply strong project management skills to deliver evidence-based initiatives under the leadership of the Statewide Community Partnerships and Integration Leader. About you You are an experienced project professional with a passion for improving mental health outcomes in diverse communities. You bring cultural capability, creativity and collaboration to everything you do. To succeed in this role, you will have: Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with cultural sensitivity and inclusivity at the core. Proven experience managing and delivering health or community-based projects with measurable outcomes. Knowledge of contemporary mental health promotion and prevention strategies and policy frameworks. The ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment and adapt to varied cultural contexts.
