Our Registered Training Organisation is seeking a Student Services Officer for a 12 month fixed term contract. In this role, you’ll provide essential support to students, trainers, employers, and stakeholders, ensuring a seamless experience across all aspects of student services. Responsibilities: Coordinate and process student enrolments with accuracy and timely data entry. Maintain compliant student records across enrolments, completions, and regulatory requirements (AVETMISS, USI, VRQA, ASQA). Provide front desk and reception support, welcoming students and responding to enquiries professionally. Manage student lifecycle tasks including withdrawals, reschedules, and RPL/Credit Transfer processes. Handle communications and correspondence, including emails, phone calls, and learning materials distribution. Support compliance reporting and audits through precise data entry and record‑keeping. Assist with industry programs such as registrations, attendance tracking, and completion reporting. Collaborate with the Student Services team to ensure seamless operations and contribute to process improvements. About you You are proactive with strong attention to detail, a customer-focused mindset, and the ability to balance compliance requirements with high-quality service delivery. Our ideal candidate is someone who: Has experience in customer experience, with previous experience in database management and administration in an education or training environment (desirable Student Services experience). Excellent communication (written and verbal) and influential interpersonal skills, presentation and customer/client service skills. Commitment to confidentiality, integrity, and discretion when handling sensitive information. Can-do attitude, with a hands‑on approach and ability to work autonomously and as part of a team. Competence in I.T. applications such as Microsoft suite. Knowledge of Registered Training operations and the VET system. Excellent understanding of all compliance matters that impact an RTO business division. Demonstrated experience working within a similar role. Relevant experience/exposure or qualifications in education, business administration, compliance, or related fields. Candidate will be subject to a Working with Children Check. #J-18808-Ljbffr
