Role We are seeking an experienced and proactive HR Advisor to join their team in Dandenong. This role is pivotal in providing HR support and guidance to the blue‑collar workforce while driving improvements in recruitment and onboarding processes. You will work closely with operational leaders and employees to ensure compliance, engagement, and smooth HR operations. Key Responsibilities Act as the first point of contact for HR queries from blue‑collar employees and supervisors. Provide advice on HR policies, procedures, and industrial relations matters. Manage end‑to‑end recruitment for production and operational roles, including job advertising, screening, interviewing, and offer management. Streamline and improve onboarding processes to enhance employee experience and reduce time‑to‑hire. Support workforce planning and assist with rostering and staffing requirements. Maintain accurate employee records and ensure compliance with Fair Work and WHS legislation. Assist with performance management processes and provide coaching to line managers. Contribute to HR projects aimed at improving engagement and retention. Prepare HR reports and metrics for management review. Promote a positive workplace culture aligned with company values. About You Previous experience in HR advisory roles within manufacturing, logistics, or similar blue‑collar environments. Strong understanding of Australian employment law and industrial relations. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust across all levels. Highly organised with strong attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities. Proficiency in HRIS and Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to work collaboratively within a small, supportive team. Qualifications Tertiary qualification in Human Resources or related discipline (or equivalent experience). Current Working Rights in Australia.
