Base pay range A$150,000.00/yr - A$170,000.00/yr Senior Consultant, Financial Services Accounting at TOM |Connecting Top Talent to Great Opportunities | Chartered Accountant | This newly created Finance Controls / SOX Manager position sits within Group Finance and will play a critical role in the design and implementation of the first‑line risk & control framework. Reporting to the Head of Finance, you will partner closely with Finance, Product, Technology and Risk to build scalable, well‑governed processes for a multinational environment. Why Apply Newly created, high‑visibility role Significant exposure to senior leadership across the organisation 12‑month FTC with likelihood of transitioning to permanent as the business grows The Role Lead the uplift of Finance’s risk & control framework and support the journey to SOX compliance Build high‑quality control documentation (RACMs, walkthroughs, narratives, flowcharts) Partner with cross‑functional teams to uplift financial reporting controls and drive process improvement Manage external auditor relationships and establish scalable audit‑readiness protocols Support automation and technology‑enabled control improvements Act as the Risk & Controls SME across Finance and deliver targeted training About You CA / CPA (or international equivalent) 6–10 years’ experience within Financial Control or External Audit (ideally Big 4 trained) Strong knowledge of RACMs, testing frameworks, remediation and controls monitoring Excellent stakeholder engagement skills and ability to influence at all levels Comfortable working in a fast‑moving, high‑growth environment If you would like to hear more, apply now or get in touch at Seniority level: Mid‑Senior level Employment type: Contract Job function: Finance and Accounting/Auditing #J-18808-Ljbffr
