IREN is seeking an experienced SOX Manager to join the SOX team responsible for overseeing and strengthening IREN’s global systems and controls to ensure accurate financial reporting and SOX compliance for business and IT processes. You will safeguard the integrity of our financial systems, establish and maintain policies and procedures that monitor and enhance the company’s global control environment, and support management in identifying emerging risks. You will collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams to define, assess, and test solutions that strengthen our business processes and IT systems and controls within an evolving technology and regulatory landscape. Job Requirements Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Management Information Systems or a related field such as Finance. Certifications such as CISA, CIA, or CPA. 5+ years of experience in SOX compliance, risk management, internal audit or external audit with a focus on business process or IT General Controls (ITGCs), including a minimum of 4 years at a U.S. publicly traded company or a Big Four public accounting firm. Experience in identifying, designing and testing business and/or IT controls to meet compliance requirements. Experience with SOX 404 and the COSO framework. Experience leading SOX efforts for systems such as SAP, HiBob, etc. Strong business process acumen and knowledge of standard processes and best practice, with direct experience with Order‑to‑Cash, Procure‑to‑Pay, Inventory and Financial Statement Close processes. Experience communicating complex technical risks and control concepts to non‑technical stakeholders, including executives. Leadership, project management and organizational experience. Job Responsibilities Assist in the end‑to‑end SOX program, including planning, scoping, risk assessment, maintenance of documentation (risk and control matrices, process flow diagrams), control testing, remediation and reporting. Collaborate with internal stakeholders and the external audit team to coordinate walkthroughs and control testing. Evaluate IT General Controls (ITGCs), automated and manual business process controls, and interfaces in key systems (e.g. SAP, ADP). Find opportunities to leverage IT solutions to automate processes, create efficiencies and strengthen internal controls. Partner with the IT organization to ensure alignment on SOX approach, timing, controls reliance and external audit reliance. Prepare and deliver training on SOX and control requirements, risk management and related areas to educate business process owners. Provide guidance and support to control owners when proposing process or system changes (e.g. implementation of new systems, impact assessment). Monitor and drive timely remediation of control deficiencies and recommend enhancements to strengthen internal controls. Stay current on changes in SOX requirements, cybersecurity regulations and IT risk management best practices.
