This role is ideal for someone who hasrecently completedtheir apprenticeshipor has a few years of greenkeeping experience andisready to step into leadership.You’llsupport the Course Superintendent and Assistant Superintendent in deliveringexceptional course presentation and leading staff — with aclear pathwayto promotion into Assistant Superintendentwithin12–18 months.KeyDuties will include:Carrying out and overseeing daily turfmanagement tasks including mowing, spraying, irrigation, fertilising, andbunker maintenance.Providing leadership in the absence of seniorgreenkeeping staff.Mentoring junior and apprentice greenkeepers.Participating in and leading project work —including drainage, grow-ins, bunker rebuilds and turf establishment.Operating, monitoring and maintainingirrigation systems.Safely operating a range of turf machinery andtools.Contributing to course preparation for dailyplay and tournaments.Maintaining high standards of health &safety across all turf operations. Requirements We areseeking a candidate who:Holds (or is near completionof)Certificate III in Sports Turf Management.Is ambitious and ready to step into theirfirst leadership role.Has 1–4 years of experience in turf care,preferably in a golf course environment.Demonstrates sound knowledge of turfmaintenance, irrigation, and machinery operation.Can lead by example and take responsibility ina team environment.Is open to flexible hours, early starts,weekends and public holidays.Wants tobe part of a growingcluband long-term redevelopment journey.Fast-tracked career pathwayto AssistantSuperintendent in 12–18 monthsInvolvement in$20M course rebuildAccess toproject and leadershipexperience early in your careerPotential forvehicleallowance(negotiable for the right candidate)Flexible hours - Open tolongerdays/four-day work weeksClub-provided uniforms, BBQs, and a supportiveteam cultureFree social golf and access to industry daysLearn from senior leaders and grow within ahigh-performing team To apply, hit “Apply Now”.
