Base pay range A$150,000.00/yr - A$160,000.00/yr Our client is a leading food manufacturer supplying high-quality products to major retailers across Australia. With a strong pipeline of growth and site investment, they are seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to lead the engineering and maintenance function, ensuring reliability, safety, and efficiency across production assets. The Role Reporting to the Site Manager, you will lead a team of fitters, electricians, and maintenance planners to deliver high equipment uptime and continuous improvement across the plant. Key Responsibilities Lead and develop the maintenance team to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable operations. Manage preventive and reactive maintenance across all plant and utilities equipment. Drive reliability improvement initiatives, focusing on reducing downtime and optimising OEE. Oversee maintenance planning, scheduling, and spare parts management. Manage maintenance budgets and contribute to site CAPEX planning. Collaborate closely with production, quality, and engineering to deliver site improvement projects. Ensure compliance with WHS and food safety requirements at all times. About You Trade or degree qualification in engineering or a related discipline (mechanical or electrical). Proven experience leading maintenance in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment. Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to engage and develop teams. Solid understanding of preventative maintenance, reliability systems, and CMMS software. Hands-on approach with a continuous improvement mindset.
