The Role: The Transport Allocator plays a crucial role in ensuring the seamless coordination of transportation activities, with a strong focus on customer and carrier satisfaction. This role requires a detail-oriented and customer-obsessed professional who will be responsible for optimising routes, managing carrier relationships, and continuously improving our transportation operations. Key Responsibilities: Customer-Centric Approach: Understand and anticipate customer needs to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction Proactively communicate with customers to provide updates on shipments, address concerns, and gather feedback Carrier Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with carriers to ensure reliable and efficient transportation services Negotiate rates, terms, and conditions with carriers to optimise cost and service levels Problem Solving: Identify and address any issues or challenges in the transportation process promptly and effectively Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement solutions and prevent recurrence Your Day 1 Qualities: Proven experience in transportation management, with a focus on customer and carrier relations Strong negotiation and communication skills Analytical mindset with the ability to make data-driven decisions Customer-obsessed mentality with a passion for exceeding customer expectations Strong organisational and multitasking abilities Proactive problem solver with a continuous improvement mindset Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment At Ofload we prioritise impact, aptitude and passion, so we'd encourage you to apply if you do not meet all the above criteria.
