People & Culture Manager

Base + Car Allowance + Super + Salary Packaging A growing community services organisation operating in a 24/7 environment is seeking its first dedicated People and Culture Manager. The business is entering a new phase of maturity and needs a strategic, hands‑on leader to build a modern HR function that supports both frontline and administrative teams. This role will report directly to the CEO and work closely with the broader leadership group to strengthen culture, capability and organisational performance. Key responsibilities: Establish and lead a fit‑for‑purpose HR function that is practical, trusted and aligned to service delivery needs Improve recruitment and workforce planning processes, including strengthening the casual workforce and enhancing hiring quality Drive culture and engagement initiatives and support leaders to follow through on survey insights and action plans Build manager capability across employee relations, performance, and decision‑making Develop simple and effective learning, development and capability frameworks Partner with external WHS specialists to uplift safety systems and practices Review and refine core policies, documentation, award alignment and foundational HR processes Maintain strong visibility across sites, building trust and supporting teams with an approachable and steady leadership style About you: Experienced HR professional or people and culture leader with proven impact in service‑based environments Comfortable working stand‑alone while delivering both strategy and hands‑on execution Warm, relatable and confident, able to influence and coach leaders at all levels Pragmatic, proactive and solutions‑focused, with a clear ability to build simple and scalable HR frameworks Willing to travel across the Perth metro area What's on offer: Hybrid working where operationally practical The chance to build HR frameworks from the ground up Meaningful impact within a purpose‑driven organisation supporting community outcomes Reporting to the CEO and opportunity to contribute to organisational strategy and culture during a pivotal period of growth Onsite parking If you believe this role aligns with your skills and experience and you’re passionate about making an impact, I'd love to hear from you.
