About the Role Centacare NENW is seeking a dedicated Community Engagement & Development Officer to join our Clinical Services team in Armidale. This part-time position offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the field of Community Services and Development. You’ll bring: A qualification in Youth Work Social Work or a related discipline Experience in community engagement youth development group facilitation or program coordination especially in health mental health or not‑for‑profit settings A natural ability to build trust and communicate with people from all walks of lifeA passion for social justice inclusion and faith‑based mission Understanding of the unique needs and challenges faced by young people aged 12‑25 including those from diverse or marginalised backgrounds Cultural sensitivity and an understanding of trauma‑informed practice Motivation initiative and a team mindset Whether you’ve worked in the sector for years or are looking for a meaningful next step we value heart humility and the ability to listen deeply.
