Warehouse & eCommerce Manager

Overview Sherpa Outdoors is looking for a Warehouse and eCommerce Manager to start as soon as possible. As part of a small team, this role has lots of variety and flexibility to suit your strengths. You will be working directly with the owner and general manager and be involved in key strategic discussions. Casual, 3-4 days a week depending on availability Flexible work hours and days – can work around school hours & other commitments Customer Service Tasks Answering email and phone enquiries from B2C and B2B customers regarding product information, returns and warranties, order processing and more. Serving in‑store customers (generally only 3‑4 daily) helping with product enquiries, sizing and fitting footwear, backpacks, etc. ECommerce Tasks Managing third‑party brand inventory – monitoring stock levels, sales history and placing orders with suppliers. Maintain relationships with suppliers – keep on top of product updates, supplier terms, etc. Loading new products into the website. Updating and adding new brands and categories. Maintaining menu and category content. Price reviews for new and existing products. Warehouse Tasks Picking, packing and processing orders. Restocking picking bays as required. Organising space and picking bays for large deliveries and new products. Unloading large shipments from China (2‑3 per year). *Some heavy lifting required Qualifications & Experience 1+ years experience in a small to medium eCommerce business. Retail and customer service experience. Experience using Excel spreadsheets including basic formulas. Good grammar and writing skills. Self‑motivated and happy working alone at times. Outdoors enthusiast – hikers, climbers, runners, skiers, walkers, campers, etc. will have an advantage Flexible days and hours Enormous range of outdoor gear & clothing at wholesale prices Working closely with the Owner & GM.
