FGI Mining is seeking experienced Mining Plant Operators to join our dynamic team in the Northern Territory and Northern WA. As a Mine Operator, you will play a crucial role in the day‑to‑day operations of our mining site, ensuring efficient and safe extraction of resources. This is a full‑time position with opportunities for career development within our growing organisation. What you’ll be doing Operating heavy machinery and equipment used in mining operations Conducting routine maintenance and inspections on mining equipment Monitoring mining processes and ensuring compliance with safety protocols Participating in site safety audits and implementing necessary improvements Collaborating with the mining team to identify opportunities for optimisation and productivity enhancements Maintaining detailed records of mining activities and equipment performance What we’re looking for Proven experience as a Mine Operator or similar role in the mining industry Minimum 3-5 years of mine operator experience required Proficiency in operating heavy machinery and equipment used in mining operations Must be certified to operate excavators, haul trucks, bulldozers, loaders, and graders Strong understanding of mining processes, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements Excellent problem‑solving and decision‑making skills Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment Commitment to prioritising safety and environmental sustainability Relevant certifications or licenses (e.g., heavy equipment operation, mining qualifications) Mining Induction and Surface Mining Certificate required at time of application Australian citizenship required for this position What we offer At FGI Mining, we are committed to providing our employees with a supportive and rewarding work environment.
