Overview AusSteel is a leading Australian manufacturer of light gauge steel frames, trusses, and the innovative AusPanel pre‑clad system. We partner with builders, developers, and construction professionals to deliver precise, fast and reliable structural solutions across QLD and NSW. Our long‑term vision is strong, and we’re preparing for significant growth over the next few years — including expanding our sales team. Role Junior Sales Representative (Future Opportunity – 2026 Start). We are building a shortlist for two upcoming Junior Sales positions (NSW & QLD) that will commence early next year. These roles are perfect for someone looking to start or accelerate a career in sales within the construction industry. Responsibilities Meet with builders, estimators, and construction partners. Conduct regular display home and builder visits. Support new business development activities. Assist with quoting, follow‑ups, and client communication. Build product knowledge in steel frame and truss systems. Maintain weekly activity metrics within a structured rhythm. Help drive growth in key regions as we scale the business. Who We’re Looking For (Temperament & Style) Friendly, confident, and good with people. Curious and eager to ask questions. Proactive and energetic. Coachable and willing to learn. Comfortable working with structure and weekly targets. Motivated by results and personal growth. Qualifications Strong communication skills. Enjoys meeting people and building trust. Basic understanding of construction (or willingness to learn). Driver’s licence. Self‑organised and reliable. Good listener and problem solver. Interested?
