About the Role Reporting to the Country Manager, Visy Logistics Australia, you will hold executive accountability for the strategy, performance and operational excellence of the Global Forwarding (AU) division. This is a career-defining opportunity to lead a division that is central to Visy’s growth pathway. You will guide the strategic direction, elevate service performance, and ensure seamless delivery of international freight solutions across all modes. You will grow market share, strengthen senior global supply partnerships, and drive an empowered, high-performing team culture. Key Accountabilities Lead the national Global Forwarding strategy, ensuring alignment with Visy Logistics’ commercial and operational priorities. Own full P&L performance, delivering sustainable financial outcomes, disciplined cost control, and accurate forecasting. Enhance end-to-end forwarding capability, ensuring seamless and reliable service across sea, air, land and integrated multimodal solutions. Build strong senior supplier and carrier partnerships, supporting profitable growth and competitive market positioning. Embed operational excellence, strengthening process discipline, standardisation, and continuous improvement across all functions. Support global integration, collaborating with teams across New Zealand, Singapore and the US expansion program to deliver unified solutions for customers. Develop future capability, empowering a high-performing team and fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and customer-first thinking. What You Will Bring Extensive experience leading global freight forwarding or supply chain operations within a major international logistics organisation. Demonstrated success in a senior leadership or GM role with full P&L accountability. Strong global networks across ocean, air and integrated forwarding markets, with proven ability to leverage relationships for commercial growth. Advanced operational, commercial and strategic thinking capability. A continuous improvement and transformation mindset, with experience scaling operations and embedding process excellence.
