Accounts & Dispatch Support - Immediate Start Are you ready to jump into a new opportunity? We have a opening for a can‑do person, who enjoys having responsibilities in a mix of operations, admin and customer support. ABOUT US Crown Cabs is a family owned business built on a foundation of hard work, integrity and initiative. We provide taxi services with exceptional customer service to clients in metro and regional Victoria. We also sell taxi security systems to the industry through our business Transport Security Cameras. We also have an exiting new project about to launch. We aren’t a corporate monster, we’re a can‑do team who roll up their sleeves and do things differently. We empower our team, encouraging growth and initiative and we have a lot of fun along the way. THE ROLE As the Accounts & Dispatch Support, your focus will be ensuring admin tasks, are completed, helping coordinate the maintenance and compliance of the fleet while looking after our team of drivers. Additionally, your dispatch and customer service skills will be utilised to work with the dispatch team. You will be involved in: Ensuring all jobs are dispatched & bookings are covered Admin and accounts responsibilities Keeping in touch with drivers & fostering a good working relationship Helping organise the repairs, maintenance and inspections Recognising opportunities for improvement and helping with projects Prioritising your workload and feeding back critical information to management This is a full time role, based at our head office in Tullamarine. The hours will be worked out with the ideal candidate and existing team members. Usually we have early shifts 6am -2:30 and 12:30 to 9pm. YOU The role requires all the skills typically needed from someone experienced with managing a variety of tasks in their role. We’re seeking someone who: Is fluid and flexible and makes stuff happen Is quick to learn computer programs and is experienced in admin or accounts work Has experience with fleets and/or dispatch or is willing to jump in and learn Takes challenges in their stride and calmly steps up when a problem needs to be solved Confident, professional, and clear communication skills Has extensive experience in roles with customer contact and offering exceptional service An enthusiasm for finding better ways to do things and recognising opportunity Experience in the Taxi or Transport industry or an understanding of vehicle maintenance is a benefit yet, not essential. Don't worry you won't be thrown in the deep end. You'll receive full training and support.
