Italian‑Speaking Male Volunteer Aged Care Social Support (Ryde) Are you compassionate, friendly, and enjoy meaningful conversations? As part of the federally funded Aged Care Volunteer Visitors Scheme, we’re seeking a caring volunteer to provide companionship to an elderly Italian‑speaking gentleman living in an aged care facility in the Ryde Local Government Area. Your visits will help foster social connection through shared interests such as art, walking, reading, board games, or simply chatting. Ideally, we’re looking for someone who can commit to at least one hour weekly or fortnightly on an ongoing basis to build trust and rapport. This is a flexible role, with visit times arranged to suit both you and your elderly friend. If you’re reliable, patient, and have a positive outlook and you speak Italian, we’d love to hear from you. Make a difference with just a little of your time.
