This role offers broad exposure across corporate and fund accounting, financial and management reporting, tax, and investment operations - ideal for a technically strong accountant seeking to build their career in a pivotal leadership role within the investment management space. The Role Working closely with the finance leadership team, your key responsibilities will include: Leading a high performing team across all aspects of financial reporting, fund accounting and FP&A Overseeing the preparation of monthly management accounts, board packs, and performance analysis across multiple entities Overseeing and coordinating the preparation of statutory financial statements and managing external audits Ensuring timely and accurate tax compliance, including BAS, FBT, and income tax returns Reviewing fund-related transactions including NAVs, distributions, and capital flows in collaboration with external administrators Leading investor and shareholder reporting, including periodic ASX disclosures Partnering with key stakeholders across the business and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives in finance systems, processes, and controls Your Background You will be a driven and detail-oriented finance professional with: CA qualified - career beginnings in Big 4 or a leading mid-tier accounting firm, building a solid grounding in financial reporting and controls Proven leadership experience managing staff in a financial reporting environment Background in funds management or adjacent sectors is essential - possibly, we will consider a high-performer outside of the sector who can prove they have a genuine passion to build expertise in this space Experience with listed entities, ASX reporting or fund accounting will be highly regarded A proactive mindset and the ability to thrive in a lean, fast-paced environment Exceptional communication skills and the confidence to engage with senior stakeholders The Next Step If this role aligns with your experience and ambitions, and you would like further details on the position, client, or remuneration, please contact Lachlan Kiel for a confidential discussion on Or apply via the link.
