This is a unique opportunity to step into a Senior Accountant position within a professional services business that's well-established within its market. This is a top‑to‑bottom role as the sole person in Finance. Where you'll work closely with senior leadership and oversee all aspects of finance. From day‑to‑day bookkeeping and payroll through to board reporting, budgeting, and cashflow management. Based just out of Brisbane CBD and initially on a part‑time basis with flexibility on how you work those hours (30 hours per week). It is paying up to 110k + Super FTE, with possible flexibility for outstanding individuals You’ll join a collaborative and down‑to‑earth team that values honesty, integrity, and strong communication. You will get fantastic training and onboarding for the role, ensuring you are set up for long‑term success. Competitive salary : Up to $110k + Super FTE, depending on experience. Future growth : With the upcoming business expansion, this role could move to full‑time in time. What you’ll be doing : Manage bookkeeping, payroll and supplier payments using Xero. Prepare monthly management reports and financial statements for the leadership team. Oversee BAS, IAS and payroll tax submissions. Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting process. Maintain and reconcile bank accounts, commission reports and financial records. Liaise with the leadership team, external accountants and auditors. Provide accurate, timely financial insights to support business decisions. What we’re looking for : Proven experience in a top‑to‑bottom finance role in a small business environment. Proficient in Xero and Excel, with strong attention to detail. Confident communicator with excellent stakeholder management skills. Ability to manage multiple responsibilities independently. For more information, please apply ASAP.
