Position Overview Lucas Tree Services is seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Area Manager to join our growing team. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth and effective functioning of our maintenance operations and contributing to the overall success of our organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in horticulture or arboriculture and proven experience in leading and managing teams. Key Responsibilities Develop and implement strategic plans to drive team performance. Lead, coach, and develop delivery functions and leaders to ensure excellence in management and service delivery. Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with personnel and service partners across multiple locations. Review and analyze operational performance quarterly, providing regular reporting and insights. Maintain high service levels in client relationships, meeting or exceeding expectations. Foster a positive work environment, support staff development, and identify opportunities for improvement and cost‑saving initiatives. Manage budgets, allocate resources effectively, and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. Negotiate contracts and ensure service level agreements are met. Skills and Experience Minimum 5 years’ experience in horticulture or arboriculture. In-depth knowledge of maintenance processes, technologies, and best practices. Proven track record in leading and managing teams effectively. Experience in developing and implementing operational strategies. Strong understanding of health and safety regulations and industry standards. Familiarity with environmental and quality management standards. Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients and stakeholders. Experience in negotiating contracts and managing customer relationships. Qualifications Certificate 3 in Arboriculture or Diploma in Arboriculture. Construction Induction Training (White Card). Valid Car License. Working with Children Check (WWCC). National Police Check.
