As a Technical Specialist, you will work closely with multidisciplinary teams and intelligence partners to design, implement, and maintain intelligence mission systems that tackle evolving challenges within the intelligence community. Mission & Responsibilities These engineering positions focus on designing, integrating, and validating complex tenant environments tailored to specific use cases and supporting critical customer objectives. Drive engineering and configuration control processes to assure mission system performance and availability. Assist in the design and implementation of software systems using automation tools and modern DevOps practices. Deploy and operate data ingestion pipelines and configure workflow management systems. Develop scripts to provision, configure, and manage systems efficiently and reliably. Monitor, maintain, and optimize infrastructure to ensure availability, performance, and security. Support the creation of CI/CD pipelines, build releases, and enable smooth delivery of applications and services. Integrate security best practices into infrastructure workflows, including secrets management, access control, and compliance automation. Write clear technical documentation to support operational excellence and team collaboration. Collaborate closely with architects and engineers across disciplines to deliver and improve platform capabilities. Required Qualifications & Experience Tertiary qualifications in relevant Engineering and/or Information Technology domains. Experience designing, building, and supporting complex IT infrastructure platforms. Proficiency with Infrastructure‑as‑Code (IaC) tools and methodologies, including Terraform and Ansible. Strong understanding of networking, system integration, cloud‑native services, and infrastructure architecture across hybrid and multi‑cloud environments. Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder engagement skills. Eligibility & Clearance Australian citizens only. Must hold an active TSPV or NV‑2 security clearance with potential uplift to a TSPV clearance; must also satisfy DISA/OSA requirements.
