Legal Counsel – Corporate and Commercial Our client, an established and forward-thinking international organisation, is looking to appoint a Legal Counsel to join its corporate legal function. This full‑time, permanent role offers the chance to work on strategic transactions and provide commercial legal support across a broad operational footprint. The Role This position sits within a high‑performing legal team and will see you advising on corporate strategy, M&A activity, and a broad array of operational legal matters. You’ll work closely with senior stakeholders and cross‑functional teams, helping to shape commercial outcomes and manage legal risk across the business. Key Responsibilities Provide legal advice on corporate transactions, including structuring, regulatory compliance, and commercial implications. Lead and manage legal due diligence processes, negotiate transaction documents, and assess risk. Advise on competition law issues and broader regulatory matters. Support operational teams with legal input across procurement, logistics, and supply chain. Build strong internal relationships and contribute to strategic decision‑making. Deliver training and guidance to promote legal awareness and best practice. Manage external legal providers and contribute to wider corporate legal projects. About You Around 4‑7 years’ post‑qualification experience. Strong background in corporate/commercial law, gained in a private practice firm or in‑house environment. Experience advising on M&A transactions. Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills. Commercially minded with sound judgment and a proactive approach.
