The Opportunity Reporting to the Senior Manager Health Safety Wellbeing, the Injury & Workers Compensation Specialist will oversee the rehabilitation and claims process with a focus on high‑risk cases. In this hands‑on role, you will manage Workers’ Compensation claims across the flagship facility, collaborate closely with site leadership teams and national teams, and implement early intervention strategies, coordinate return‑to‑work plans, and ensure compliance with relevant legislation and internal policies. Key Responsibilities Leading the end‑to‑end management of Workers’ Compensation claims, providing clear guidance to employees and stakeholders Ensuring compliance with Victorian Workers’ Compensation legislation and related requirements Liaising with internal teams and external service providers to achieve timely resolution of claims Supporting and monitoring return‑to‑work programs to ensure safe and effective reintegration Preparing reports and providing updates on claims, financial exposure, and risk to senior management Driving continuous improvement in injury management processes and contributing to a culture of employee wellbeing About You The ideal candidate is a highly experienced injury management professional with a strong understanding of Workers’ Compensation processes and legislation in Victoria. You are proactive, detail‑oriented, and able to build strong relationships with employees, management, and external stakeholders. Additional Requirements Qualification in a related discipline Proven ability to manage complex claims while maintaining compliance and operational efficiency Excellent organisational, prioritisation, and multitasking skills in fast‑paced environments Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and advise across all levels of an organisation A proactive approach, with enthusiasm for improving processes, reducing risks, and supporting employees’ safe return to work Eligibility Applicants must have the right to live and work in Australia.
