Upper Hunter Automotive is looking for an experienced and driven Used Car Sales Manager to lead our pre‑owned vehicle department. This is a key leadership role responsible for stock management, sales performance, customer satisfaction, and team development across our multi‑franchise dealership. If you’re a strong closer, a natural leader, and thrive in a fast‑paced automotive environment, we want to hear from you. What you’ll be responsible for Managing all pre‑owned stock — buying, appraising, pricing, and merchandising Driving team performance to achieve sales, finance, and aftermarket targets Coaching, mentoring, and developing the used‑car sales team Managing reconditioning efficiency and vehicle presentation standards Analysing KPIs and reporting to the Dealer Principal Ensuring compliance with dealership policies and NSW regulations Delivering an exceptional customer experience from enquiry to delivery What you’ll bring Proven experience in automotive used‑car sales leadership Strong valuation and appraisal skills Ability to motivate and lead a high‑performance sales team Solid understanding of finance, aftermarket, and gross management Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer service skills High attention to detail and strong organisational ability A valid NSW driver’s licence What we offer Competitive remuneration package with strong commission earning potential Stable, reputable dealership with multiple franchises Supportive management team and positive workplace culture Opportunities for growth Ready to take the next step?
