Join the Royal Children’s Hospital Mental Health Department as a Graduate Mental Health Clinician (Occupational Therapy) in a 2-year program supporting children aged 0-11 and their families. Your Role Key responsibilities include: Engaging children and their families in recovery-focused clinical care Providing evidence-based interventions Working collaboratively with colleagues and agency partners to provide high quality multidisciplinary care Spending one year in Brimbank Melton Children’s Health and Wellbeing Local and one year in Infant, Child and Family Mental Health and Wellbeing services About You What you'll need: Occupational Therapy degree qualification or equivalent from an accredited course/university Registration with AHPRA, meeting continuing professional development and recency of practice requirements Current National Criminal Record Check and Valid Working with Children Check, or willingness to obtain Compliance with RCH’s “Staff Immunisation - Prevention of Vaccine Preventable Diseases” procedure Desirable: Experience or exposure to Mental Health specialty through student placement, lived experience, allied health support, or similar mental health setting Compensation & Benefits Salary Packaging – Increase take home pay by $11,500 Discounted Private Health Insurance Heavily discounted on-site parking, direct Public Transport access, and bicycle storage facilities Access to counselling, financial coaching, legal support, nutritional support, and specialist helpline services through Converge Training & Development The program offers ongoing support, training, and development opportunities within a multidisciplinary team environment.
