Gardenview Nursing Home – Merrylands West NSW Garden View Aged Care is seeking compassionate and reliable Personal Support Workers (PSWs) to join our team in Merrylands West. These casual positions offer an opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our residents by delivering personalised care and support. As a PSW, you will play an important role in promoting dignity, comfort, and wellbeing for those in our care. What you’ll be doing Assisting residents with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting Providing emotional support and companionship to enhance residents’ quality of life Accurately documenting care activities and observations Working collaboratively with the nursing team to implement individualised care plans Supporting residents to maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment Engaging residents in recreational and lifestyle activities What we’re looking for Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing) or equivalent qualification Previous experience in aged care or healthcare is highly regarded Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Empathy, patience, and a strong commitment to person‑centred care Ability to work effectively within a team environment Flexibility to work across various shifts, including mornings, afternoons and nights, as well as weekends What we offer At Garden View Aged Care, we truly value our staff and strive to provide a positive and supportive workplace.
