Role Overview We are seeking Service Desk Manager to join our dynamic team to work with one of our clients in Melbourne CBD. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in a similar role within an ITIL environment. Your ability to lead / coach a team as well as helping the wider business shape best‑practices will be central to the role. As such, excellent communication skills – spoken, written and interpersonal – are required as is the need to be on‑site on a daily basis. Key Responsibilities Providing day‑to‑day coordination and leadership across the service desk environment Supporting uplift of ITIL processes, particularly change, incident, and problem Helping mature ways of working, documentation, and service management approach Contributing to the improvement of service desk operations and user experience Assisting with tooling changes Leading process transformation activities Bringing best practice methods, structure, and discipline into the function Operating collaboratively with team to elevate capability and consistency About You ITIL Certification with proven experience of best practices A natural communicator with a proactive, can‑do approach Ability to troubleshoot technical issues methodically and efficiently A genuine passion for delivering quality customer support This role will be hands‑on and the goal is to supplement and strengthen operational leadership for the duration of the engagement.
