Senior Co-ordinator (Assessment, Regulations & Appeals) Location: Penrhyn Road. Contract: Permanent, Full-time, 37 hours per week. Salary: £39,407 – £43,835 per annum. Posted: 10 November 2025. Role Summary This is an exciting opportunity to join the Regulations, Assessment and Student Casework team as a Senior Co‑ordinator (Assessment, Regulations & Appeals). As one of a team of five Senior Co‑ordinators, you will provide crucial support for colleagues across the institution in relation to assessment and regulatory frameworks and will act as the primary point of contact for one of our four faculties. Responsibilities Assist the Faculty on their assessment schedule, delivering training, staff development and guidance materials. Lead investigation and drafting of responses to stage 1 academic appeals. Compile annual reports for committees and clerk pan‑university working groups. Collaborate closely with the Student Course and Administration Office and the Faculty Deputy Dean (Education). Support continuous improvement and foster good working relationships across the institution. Qualifications Strong foundation in assessment, regulation and student casework, ideally within a student office or an academic registry function. Knowledge and experience of academic appeals procedures and a good understanding of mitigation, academic misconduct, data integrity, assessment boards and related processes. Enthusiastic, proactive and problem‑solving oriented.
