Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Hands-on, commercially focused finance leaderCanberra-based | Values-led organisation | Growth phase You're a true accountant at heart which makes you a great fit for this CFO role. Youve likely developed leadership capability over the course of your career, but if you're more comfortable with spreadsheets than spotlight moments, that's absolutely fine. What matters most is your strong technical and commercial acumen, and your ability to translate financial detail into strategic insight for the CEO and Board. This is a hands-on role in an organisation on the cusp of growth. Focus ACT is preparing to double its client base and expand its service offering, and you'll be a key contributor in ensuring the financial infrastructure is ready to support this trajectory. You'll provide strategic financial guidance, drive commercial decision-making, and help shape the future of the business. An understanding of the NDIS, or other regulated sectors will be an advantage to you in this position but not a prerequisite. Key responsibilities include: Overseeing financial operations, planning and analysis across the group Leading budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting to inform key decisions Managing a small in-house team and an outsourced finance provider Supporting the wholly owned property portfolio and new company establishments Ensuring compliance with NDIS regulatory and ASIC reporting requirements Focus ACT is a growing provider of supported independent living services, with a strong reputation for high-quality support and a deep commitment to empowering people with disability.
