Machine Operator - Geelong Sims Metal (Sims) is a global leader in metal recycling. We're looking for a hands‑on, safety-focused Machine Operator to join our team. Reporting to the Yard Manager, you'll play an essential role in sorting, grading and processing metals — all while helping deliver great service to our customers. Responsibilities Safely load and unload trucks, skip bins, and trailers. Operate machinery including forklifts and/or excavators/Sheers. Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner. Grade and sort recyclable metal materials. Follow all health and safety procedures — and lead by example. Qualifications A current forklift (LF) licence — or a willingness to learn. Strong work ethic and ability to work independently. A proactive attitude and openness to upskilling.
