Description As a Senior Civil Engineer / Superintendent, you will manage the delivery of major civil engineering projects, ensuring high technical standards and commercial viability. Your responsibilities include construction supervision, contract administration, and project management across a range of civil infrastructure works. You’ll provide technical and contractual support to project teams, oversee project delivery, and ensure compliance with relevant standards and quality systems. You’ll work closely with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to manage project scope, budget, and timelines. The role includes performing Superintendent duties under AS4000, AS2124, and/or PAP under GC21, and contributing to business development through identifying new opportunities and preparing proposals. This role offers flexible working arrangements and the opportunity to contribute to some of the region’s most impactful community development projects. Day To Day Tasks Lead multidisciplinary teams in the delivery of construction phase services for civil infrastructure projects. Provide technical and contractual support to ensure high‑quality, cost‑effective project outcomes aligned with best practices. Perform Superintendent duties under AS4000, AS2124 and/or PAP under GC21, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and systems. Manage project scope, budgets, and timelines while maintaining strong communication with clients, contractors, and stakeholders. Contribute to business planning, identify new project opportunities, and support proposal development. Mentor and supervise junior staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning, performance, and collaboration. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering Minimum 5 years working experience in consulting field and/or recognised as a senior engineer in your current role (land development and civil infrastructure project experience highly desirable) Professional Engineering registration/ RPEQ accreditation – Preferable Proven expertise in construction supervision, contract administration, and project management, with a strong ability to deliver high‑quality civil infrastructure projects. Demonstrated leadership in guiding multidisciplinary teams, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest technical standards. Strong written and verbal communication skills Proven experience in time management and organisational skills including the ability to manage resources and delegate tasks effectively. Ongoing commitment to professional development through self‑study, training and seminars, and maintaining your Continual Professional Development (CPD).
