Despatch & Transport Supervisor – NSW

Cross Check Australasia – Wetherill Park NSW An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Despatch & Transport Supervisor to lead and coordinate transport and despatch operations for a leading national manufacturer. You’ll oversee the day‑to‑day scheduling of deliveries across Sydney, regional NSW and interstate locations, ensuring on‑time, in‑full performance and exceptional customer service. The role is hands‑on and fast‑paced, requiring strong planning, leadership and communication skills. Key Responsibilities Plan and manage daily despatch and transport activities. Coordinate delivery schedules and optimise transport utilisation. Monitor costs, load efficiency, and delivery accuracy. Lead daily pre‑starts, toolbox meetings, and safety checks. Ensure real‑time updates of order and transport status using ERP systems. Maintain a clean, safe, and well‑organised warehouse and yard. Investigate and resolve transport or delivery issues promptly. Report key performance metrics including DIFOT, costs, and safety outcomes. Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities across warehouse and transport operations. About You You’ll have experience in despatch or transport supervision, ideally in a manufacturing or logistics environment. You’re safety‑focused, solutions‑oriented and skilled in scheduling, cost control and people leadership, combined with excellent communication skills. Experience with ERP or transport tracking systems (e.g. Pronto, DeTrack) is advantageous.
