School Crossing Supervisor – Annandale Public School Transport for NSW invites applications for a Part‑time School Crossing Supervisor based at Annandale Public School. Job Overview As a core member of the safety team, you will act as a Guardian of the road during school hours, ensuring that children, parents, teachers and local motorists are protected. Your presence will become a familiar and respected part of the school community. Key Responsibilities Supervise school crossings during the designated school zone hours of 8:30‑9:30 AM and 2:30‑3:30 PM, Monday‑Friday. Maintain a 20‑hour fortnightly supervising schedule, split into one hour in the morning and one hour in the afternoon. Provide safety oversight, engage with school staff, parents and children, and respond swiftly to potential hazards. Use provided equipment and report any incidents or concerns following standard procedures. Represent the Transport for NSW team, embodying a safe, supportive and approachable image. Qualifications & Requirements Must be at least 18 years old at the time of appointment. Strong communication skills and an alert, safety‑first attitude. Willingness to acquire a Working with Children Check, Reference Checks, Police Check and a Health Assessment; assistance will be provided if not already held. Reliability and commitment to attend work in all weather conditions. All training, uniforms and equipment are provided by Transport for NSW.
