School Crossing Supervisor – Beecroft Public School Organisation: Transport for NSWJob category: SafetyLocation: Beecroft, NSW 2119Reference: Employment type: Permanent Part‑time (1 hour morning, 1 hour afternoon, 25 hours fortnightly)Salary: $26.43 per hour (plus superannuation); paid during school holidays (Terms 1‑3) Role Overview Become a Road Safety Hero and a much‑loved familiar face to the school community. You will supervise school crossings during the school zone hours (8:15–9:30 AM and 3:00–4:00 PM) Monday to Friday, ensuring the safety of children, parents, teachers and local motorists. Key Responsibilities Supervise designated school crossings for 1 hour each in the morning and afternoon, meeting the required 25 hours per fortnight. Display effective communication skills and remain alert to potential dangers. Work in all weather conditions and be reliable for scheduled shifts. Support the school community by maintaining a friendly and approachable presence. Qualifications & Requirements Must be 18 years or older at the time of appointment. Provide a Working with Children Check, Reference Checks, Police Check and Health Assessment (or be willing to obtain these). Interest in community safety and a willingness to work with children on the road. Training, uniforms and equipment will be provided. Benefits Hourly wage plus superannuation.
