Volunteer Visitor for friendship and conversation with a retired engineer A delightful, retired engineer in Tyabb would benefit from your friendship and some interesting conversation about a wide range of topics, like politics, astronomy, building techniques, Christianity. Conversations at home and coffee outings or doing some woodwork together are amongst the activities you could do together. One hour per week or every fortnight would make a real difference in someone's life MS Plus is funded to provide a volunteer visiting program the Aged Care Volunteer Visitors Scheme (ACVVS). If you are looking for a volunteer role that makes a positive difference to another person, reduces loneliness in our community, brings mutual joy and is flexible - this is a role for you. MS Plus believes in a person to person approach and aspire to match you with someone local with shared interests and hobbies. We look forward to hearing from you. Details Category : Community Services Commitment : Regular - more than 6 months Type Of Work : Companionship & Social Support, Seniors & Aged Care Time Required : Weekly visits/connections preferred or at least once a fortnight, by mutual convenience, any day of the week/fortnight with a minimum 12-month commitment requirement.
