Incident, Clinical and Risk Reporting Analyst Incident, Clinical & Risk Reporting Analyst Sydney CBD – Pitt Street Full-time fixed-term contract to 31 July 2026 (6 months) Closing date: Friday 16 January 2026 Join Uniting at a time where high-quality data, strong governance and informed decision-making are critical to the performance and safety of our services. We are seeking an experienced Incident, Clinical & Risk Reporting Analyst to support our Care and Clinical Systems and Reporting team , playing a pivotal role in ensuring the integrity, accuracy and usefulness of clinical, risk and compliance data across the organisation. This role requires a confident, analytical professional who can think critically, engage effectively with senior leaders, and keep work on track in an environment with multiple, competing priorities. About the role In this role, you will support the management and ongoing improvement of Uniting’s clinical, risk and compliance systems. You will work closely with operational leaders, governance forums, IT and system users to ensure reporting is accurate, insightful and supports timely decision-making. Your work will directly contribute to Uniting’s ability to assess performance, monitor serious incidents and complaints, and maintain strong clinical governance. Key responsibilities As the Incident, Clinical & Risk Reporting Analyst, you will: Validate routine monthly reporting to ensure accuracy, completeness and data integrity Provide initial analysis and commentary on routine reports, identifying trends, gaps and priority actions for stakeholders Support Uniting’s governance model through the preparation, compilation and validation of Board and committee reports within set timeframes Respond to ad-hoc data, reporting and analysis requests Attend leadership forums to present report outcomes, highlight risks and recommend actions Monitor and elevate serious incidents and complaints, liaising with operational teams to clarify data and resolve quality issues Provide backup support for new and existing reports and metrics, including creation, extraction, troubleshooting, analysis and building end-user reporting capability Work with the IT Service Desk to triage escalated system issues, identify root causes and contribute to remediation as a data subject matter expert Liaise with stakeholders to document and analyse requirements for system and data support Support system improvement initiatives, including system testing, UAT activities, issue analysis and resolution Provide guidance and support to system users to promote accurate record keeping and compliance with policies and procedures, contributing to training and support materials as required About you You are a disciplined and resilient analyst who combines strong technical capability with excellent judgement and stakeholder confidence. You are comfortable influencing without authority and can hold your ground with senior managers to ensure outcomes stay on track. You will bring: A Bachelor’s degree or postgraduate qualification in a related field At least 3–4 years’ experience in a numerical, business or technical analyst role Strong analytical, logical and critical thinking skills , with a genuine passion for data integrity Demonstrated experience working in fast-paced environments with competing priorities The ability to work independently, prioritise effectively and deliver to deadlines Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messaging to diverse audiences Proven capability in stakeholder engagement, influencing and relationship management across complex organisations High attention to detail and a systematic, thorough and organised approach Proficiency in MS Office and SharePoint, with intermediate to advanced Excel skills (including formulae) A solid understanding of core operational business functions Even better if you also have: A degree or relevant experience in Business, Accounting, IT or a related discipline Exposure to UAT activities within a systems environment Experience in project management Experience with risk, incident, complaint, clinical or case management systems Experience delivering reporting and analysis that informs operational and executive decision-making How to apply Please submit your CV and a cover letter via the job advertisement platform to ensure accurate tracking of your application.
