The Role We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Claims Officer to join our Brighton team. In this role, you will manage and coordinate insurance claims across a broad range of classes, ensuring smooth, timely and effective service for our clients. In addition, during quieter periods or when claims volumes are low, you will provide broker support to assist with general broking needs across the team. Candidates with any work rights in Australia are welcome to apply for this position. This dual-function role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, is client-focused, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Claims Management Manage end-to-end claims handling across all insurance classes Liaise with clients, insurers, loss adjusters, and third parties to ensure timely and fair outcomes Provide clear and proactive communication to clients throughout the claims process Monitor and follow up on outstanding claims, ensuring accurate records are maintained Identify and elevate complex claims or emerging trends as required Support brokers with claims advice and documentation when needed Broker Support (when required) Assist brokers and Account Directors with general administrative tasks including renewal preparation, endorsements, and quotations Prepare client documentation and assist with insurer correspondence Help maintain client files and CRM systems in line with compliance requirements Provide client service support when team workloads are high About You Previous experience in insurance claims (brokerage or insurer) is preferred Strong communication and customer service skills, with the ability to manage sensitive or stressful situations professionally Proactive, organised, and adaptable to changing workloads Attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities Tier 1 accreditation (or Tier 2 with commitment to completing Tier 1 promptly) is preferred but not essential A collaborative mindset and willingness to step in and assist others when required Why Join Us?
