Role Overview Join us as a Claims Officer at QBE Insurance . In this dynamic Property Claims team you’ll deliver exceptional claims service, analyse policy coverage, manage the investigation, evaluation and negotiation of cases, and contribute to a collaborative environment. Key Responsibilities Stay up to date with insurance guidelines and policy changes, ensuring compliance. Resolve non‑compliant issues and escalating when necessary to maintain standards. Build strong client relationships, responding to requests promptly and professionally. Process property claims, determine coverage, and ensure accurate settlements. Set reserves, authorise payments, and efficiently manage claim resolutions. Identify and report suspicious claims, while maintaining clear communication with all stakeholders and adhering to confidentiality guidelines. Qualifications and Experience A strong customer service background where you have provided a world class customer service experience and have shown passion to grow and develop into an insurance professional. A strong ability to build rapport over the phone and handle varying customer expectations and demands. A highly empathetic approach to dealing with customers, possessing the ability to be friendly yet professional. Self‑motivated with excellent organisational skills. Previous claims officer experience is highly advantageous.
