There will be many more exciting and innovative things to do: Accounting for and maintaining internal management accounting reports related to government grants and each department’s Actual vs Budget performance. Managing the treasury aspects of government grants for dedicated projects. Monitoring budgets, communicating actual spend against budgets and taking appropriate action where necessary to assist the company and its trading partners to comply with corporate and grant budgets. Undertaking cost‑benefit analysis on strategic asset acquisition. Performing detailed cost accounting and reporting of production costs and identifying areas for improvement. Managing Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions, supervising staff members in those functions. General assistance in the Finance Department on accounting matters. Other duties as requested by the Chief Financial Officer / Financial Controller. Mandatory Qualifications, Skills and Experience Proven experience in budgetary control and bookkeeping, including handling accounts payable and a degree of independence to use initiative. Strong financial analysis skills. Must be NV1 Security Clearance eligible (preferred).
