The Opportunity Applications are now open for the position of Production Manager at our brand‑new bakery scheduled to launch at the beginning of 2026 in Nambeelup, WA (12km from Mandurah and 60 km South of Perth). Reporting directly to the Plant Manager WA, the Production Manager WA will oversee day‑to‑day production operations, ensuring excellence in safety, quality, and efficiency. You will lead and develop a high‑performing team, foster engagement, and drive a culture of continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities Daily Operations Management: Oversee daily production operations, ensuring efficiency, quality, and safety throughout the bakery. Production Planning and Scheduling: Plan and coordinate production activities to ensure efficient and cost‑effective operations. Manage rostering, scheduling, and payroll activities efficiently. Team Leadership: Drive employee engagement and retention, recruit and onboard team members. Nurture talent and develop future leaders to drive our team and business forward. Team Mentorship and Development: Coach and mentor Team Leaders, conduct performance evaluations, and provide sound recommendations for employee development. Compliance Management: Maintain and ensure compliance with quality policies, safety and food safety standards, and company procedures. Reporting: Provide accurate and timely reports on production performance. Drive Continuous Improvement: Implement and drive initiatives to enhance production processes and drive efficiency. About You We are looking for an engaging people leader who thrives in a dynamic environment where quality, safety and efficiency are paramount. To be successful in the role you bring: 3+ years' experience in a complex manufacturing environment, ideally within the FMCG/food/pharma industries. Previous track record in leading medium to large teams will be preferred, combined with the ability to enhance employee engagement and drive top performance. Conflict resolution skills with ability to foster a positive and collaborative work environment. Proficiency in MS Office, ERP systems and ability to rapidly learn new systems. Superior time management, prioritising and problem‑solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions in a fast‑paced environment. Sound understanding of continuous improvement methodologies, and a track record in maximising production processes will be highly regarded. Great communications skills, with ability to adjust communication style to wide audiences.
