Overview The Communications and Corporate Affairs (CCA) Group builds and leverages media and strategic stakeholder relationships to improve awareness and understanding of ASIC's mandate and outcomes. It manages external, digital and internal communications, and delivers ASIC's consumer education and Moneysmart. This role sits in the Corporate Affairs team in the CCA Group, which is accountable for consumer communications, including Moneysmart, corporate reporting, events, and CCA's strategy. Responsibilities Lead the advertising strategy from conception to delivery for a new multi-year consumer education campaign to boost Australians' engagement with superannuation and retirement planning. Leverage market research to guide the strategic direction of impactful advertising campaigns and content. Develop and manage campaign planning cycles, including end-to-end above‑ and below‑the‑line campaign related activities. Provide high‑level expert advice and support on campaign development to the Head of Corporate Affairs and Chief Communications Officer. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure full integration through below‑the‑line and earned media activities. Develop and deliver effective and efficient consumer education advertising campaigns that comply with the relevant guidelines. Respond to and implement changing priorities quickly, identifying and communicating issues and making decisions with a focus on achieving key advertising outcomes. Ensure competing priorities are delivered to a high standard, bringing energy and drive to progressing work with a commitment to getting the job done. Qualifications Tertiary qualifications in marketing, communications or public relations. At least 7‑10 years of experience working for listed corporate or consumer brands or large government agencies. Prior experience delivering large‑scale government advertising campaigns is highly desirable (but not essential). Demonstrated excellent written, verbal, analytical and presentation skills designed to influence decisions. Experience working in a large and agile organisation in a regulated industry. Expertise in bringing brands to life through storytelling. Executive‑level communication, collaboration, and influencing skills. Experience managing and developing high‑performing teams by driving clear direction and leaning into coaching and development opportunities.
