Façade Site Supervisor

LIDCO is a leading end to end Façade services company. Founded in 1946 we have a strong history of engineering and design of façade systems. As Site Supervisor, you will be required to keep within the time frame and budget of a project as well as manage any delays or problems encountered on site. Alongside the installers Site Supervisor, will be responsible for onsite Quality Control and Quality Assurance management, which includes overseeing materials and supply received from Overseas and reporting any material defects /NCR’s as well as ensuring they are resolved in a timely manner. Responsible for coordinating on-site labour/workmanship issues as well as coordinate sub- contractors and sign off the works they complete. You will be expected to think on your feet and find solutions to reduce budgets, such as problem-solving situations and identifying and recording variations. Book and receive all site deliveries which includes coordination and booking crane times. Ensure pre-checks are done on all material being lifted. Keep track and record of material delivered and returned from site. You will also be responsible for conducting inspections of health and safety practices on site and review regulations with managers, workers, and contractors. Working closely with the Project Manager, will be responsible for training and making sure that all tools and on-site items meet Australian safety standards. You will also be expected to assist your colleagues, should you have the capacity. Supervising and overseeing the functions of the projects Ensuring that client specifications, requirements and expectations are met Reviewing project progress and liaising with Project Manager to ensure budgets are met Checking and preparing site reports and drawings Coordinating and supervising site workers (including sub-contractors) Book, inspect and receive all site deliveries Supporting the Project Manager to negotiate contracts and secure any relevant licensing and permits (where needed) Assessing and mitigating risks at any level on site Performing safety inspections and always ensuring site safety Upholding relationships with clients and other construction professionals, ensuring LIDCO's reputation is consistently maintained Working alongside the installers Site Supervisor to ensure materials and supply from China are of high standard for onsite projects Ensure weekly site reporting is completed and documented – and attach the issues on site to this report and sending this to the Project Manager Finding ways to prevent problems and to solve any that may appear and sharing these learnings with other LIDCO staff to ensure continuous learning and improvement Please apply if you believe you are ready to take your façade journey to the next level. #J-18808-Ljbffr
