Window Furnishing Showroom Consultant

The Blind Factory is a well-established retailer in the window furnishing industry. We are looking for someone with a great personality, professional presentation and a positive outlook for one of Sydney’s newest window furnishing showrooms. As part of growing and dynamic team you will be responsible for providing unsurpassed customer service and advice to our customers on our product types, colours, and fabrics from our range after full training has been provided. You will be someone who can demonstrate that you are self‑motivated, can be hands on and work independently but also be an integral member in a small team. Responsibilities Open and close the Showroom and maintain a highly professional presentation; uniforms will be provided. Promote the features and benefits of custom‑made products on display to clients. Use your product knowledge of curtains, roller blinds, romans, venetians, plantation shutters and external awning products to assist the customer with the right product choice. Occasionally provide estimates to clients on window furnishing from customers window sizes. Process payments from customers. Perform general customer service duties, including data entry of customer details, order processing and answering incoming calls. Qualifications Knowledge of window furnishings is not crucial but would be of great benefit. Will be considered for the role if you are looking to start a career in the industry. To be eligible for this role you must be an Australian Citizen or holder of an Australian Permanent Residency Visa. The role is based in our retail showroom in the Northern Beaches. We are open Monday to Saturday and are looking for someone to cover Thursday, Friday and Saturday although open to discussion.
