You’ll use cutting-edge dynamics simulation software to analyse and optimise the performance of longer and heavier truck configurations—work that directly improves freight efficiency and road safety. Responsibilities Inspecting 'as-built' heavy vehicles to enrol them into the National Heavy Vehicle Regulators (NHVR) Performance Based Standards (PBS) Scheme. Preparing design approval applications under the NHVR PBS Scheme. Managing applications to the NHVR for seamless access approvals. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, running simulations, and liaising with clients and regulators to deliver successful outcomes. What We’re Looking For A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering. A valid Australian driver’s licence and full working rights. Strong communication skills, analytical thinking, and attention to detail. Bonus points for experience with AutoCAD, MATLAB, Python, or VBA—but don’t worry if you’re new to these tools; we’ll support your learning. How to Apply Ready to start your career with us?
